The Meridian SatinAir Pressure Alternating Mattress is used to adjust where pressure is being applied and centered to avoid skin maceration and adjust comfort levels to meet the specifications of the user. The SatinAir includes the mattress, cover, and pump. The pump offers an alternating pressure mode and a static feature that can be set relative to the patient™s weight for optimal comfort. The pump is capable of pumping 8 LPM (Liters Per Minute). The nylon zipper cover makes for easy cleaning and sanitation while being low shear, fluid-resistant, and vapor permeable. Inside the mattress are 17 rows of 8 replaceable pressure air cells that inflate and deflate based off the input from the user on the pump. Each of the cells are made of a PVC coated nylon that makes for easy cleaning.
The SatinAir can support up to 350 pounds and each purchase features a 1 year warranty on both the mattress and pump. The ease of cleaning and adjustability make this the perfect option for nursing homes, hospitals, or even home care of bedridden patients.
