1Reply3 years ago | 3 years agoPM Procedure For The 3M Forced-Air Arizant Bair Hugger model 700 The PM for the Bair Hugger is fairly simple. As with most PM's you will need to do a currant leakage check with a standard Safety Analyzer. Assure the ohms are below .5 and uA is below 300. Next you will want to turn on the device and allow it to heat up. You will be testing three different temperature ranges: Low 32°C (±1.5), Med 38°C (±1.5), High 43°C (±1.5) using a temperature probe that is fitted into tubing that fits onto the Bair Hugger hose port. You may test the overheating alarm by occluding the hose until it overheats and alarms. Finally you will need to replace the filter located in the base of the Bair Hugger. This is a high efficiency 0.2¼m filter, part # 90047 from 3M. This filter will need to be changed annually. This concludes the PM Procedure for the 700 series Bair Hugger. If I missed anything or you need further details or information please contact me. Thank you!Reply |
