Up front the Surface RT features a 10.6-inch ClearType display. The resolution is set at 1366 x 768, which results in 148 pixels per inch. The display on the Surface RT is a 5-point multi-touch touchscreen. Other specs include front and rear 1.2 MP cameras capable of recording video at 720p.

The Surface RT was launched alongside Windows 8 to highlight the strengths of the platform.
