Since 1926, the 'Toastmaster' brand of cooking and baking products has graced the kitchens of residential and commercial chefs around the world beginning with the first truly automatic pop-up toaster and moving on to a wide range of household, food preparation, cooking and ironing appliances. The Toastmaster Belgian Waffle Maker continues this fine tradition with an easy-to-use design, featuring a pre-heat indicator light and non-stick baking surfaces, that quickly makes golden brown or dark and crispy, deep-pocketed Belgian waffles within minutes.
Step 1:
Make your batter and set it aside. If you don't have a Belgian waffle recipe, refer to the recipes provided by Toastmaster in your waffle maker's user manual.

Step 2:
Prepare your waffle maker by wiping the surface of the waffle grid plates with a damp microfiber cloth. Allow the plates to air-dry and then spread a thin layer of vegetable oil over the plates.
Step 3:
Plug your waffle iron into an electrical socket to pre-heat it.
Step 4:
Ladle or pour approximately 1/2 to 2/3 cup of batter---depending on your recipe and waffle maker model---on to the bottom waffle-grid plate once the indicator light on your waffle maker turns OFF and then close the lid so that the top plate fits evenly over the bottom plate. If done correctly, the indicator light should turn back ON. Depending on your Toastmaster waffle maker model, the indicator light will stay ON during baking or turn ON/OFF intermittently.
Step 5:
Check the waffle while baking after approximately three minutes by gently and slowly lifting the lid with a potholder. If the lid lifts easily and your Belgian waffle has a golden brown or dark brown, crisp appearance, carefully lift it from the lower plate using a wooden or plastic utensil and position on a plate. Immediately ladle or pour batter on to the lower plate and close the top lid to bake another as the waffle can cool quickly if the lid remains open for longer than a minute. If the lid sticks to the waffle, reposition the lid and continue to bake the first waffle.
Step 6:
Unplug your Toastmaster waffle maker when finished and set it aside to cool. Wipe the plates with a lint-free microfiber cloth to clean.
The Waring Pro Belgian Waffle Maker, commonly known simply as the Waring Pro Waffle Maker, is a rotary system waffle maker -- the waffle grids rotate to bake and brown both sides of the waffle evenly. The unit also features a nonstick grid surface as well as six separate browning settings to make waffles to suit personal preferences. Using the waffle maker isn't a complex task. Once you have your batter made, you simply preheat the grids, pour your batter and wait for the unit to alert you that the waffle has finished baking.

Waffle Baking
Position your Waring Pro Belgian Waffle Maker on a table or counter away from any other heat sources or plastic.
Lift up the lid. Unlock and unfold the handle if applicable. Wipe the interior top and bottom grids with a damp cloth and then close the lid.
Select browning setting '4' using the dial. Plug in and turn on the appliance. Wait for it to preheat in about four minutes. A green light should come on, and the waffle maker should beep several times to indicate that it's ready for the batter.
Open the lid and apply vegetable oil to the grids. Brush it on with a pastry brush or use a cooking spray.
Fill the included measuring cup with batter. If you have a thick batter, pour to the top of the cup. If you have a thin batter, pour to the 3/4 line.
Align the cup spout over the center of the bottom grid and pour out the batter. Use a silicone spatula to even out the batter across the grid.
Lower the lid. While still holding the handle, turn the closed assembly 180-degrees clockwise.
Wait for your waffle maker to beep three times, indicating that the waffle has finished baking. Turn the assembly counterclockwise to its original position and then lift up the lid. Remove the waffle carefully from the bottom grid.
Repeat the process to make your next waffle. If you want a darker waffle, turn the browning setting to a number higher than '4.' If you want a lighter waffle, turn the setting to a lower number.
Cleaning and Storage
Turn off and unplug your waffle maker when finished. Leave the lid in the up position. Wait for the unit to cool.
Wipe the grids and handle with a damp paper towel or cloth.
